Former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens injured this week on RAW. Owens has suffered injuries to both his knees. He will possibly require minor surgeries to fix this.
This injury to Kevin Owens suffered at the hands of Bobby Lashley. After their singles match on RAW, Bobby Lashley attacked Owens multiple times on the ring post, It was an angle done for Lashley’s heel turn but wen really bad for Owens.
With this injury, WWE pulled him off from mixed Match Challenge Season 2.
Also, Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the extent of Owens’ knee injury is unknown at this time. He’s currently scheduled for minor surgery, but they will not know the full extent of the damage until they go in and operate.
The internal fear is that he could be out for 8 months, which would project his return timeframe to be anytime from February to June of 2019.
