Team India traveled to Melbourne for 2nd T20I, in a way to level the 3 matches T20I Series. Indian Captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to field first, carrying the same decision he took in the 1st T20I.

The home team came out to bat. Indian bowlers managed to send back the opener Aron Finch 0(1) way early in the match. Chris Lynn 13(13) was dismissed in the 4th over by Khaleel Ahmed.
D Arcy Short 14(15) & Marcus Stoinis 4(5) didn’t hold the crease too long as they departed in 6th & 7th over. Glenn Maxwell looked to settle long run but went back in the 11th over, Krunal Pandya did the job for India.
Indian bowling attack well controlled the Australian batting line-up as the hosts could only rich 132 in 19 overs before the rain stopped the match.
Australia didn’t come back to bat, 137 was the revised target for the team India. Rain again interrupted the match, making the match of only 10 overs with a target of 90 runs. In the end, the game abandoned as the rain didn’t stop.
