Queen Of The Ring PPV For Women’s?
Women’s evolution may not stop at 2018 only as the second all women’s PPV or a tournament like a thing is in the works. According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer talked about the idea of WWE possibly bringing back the King of the Ring tournament for the women.
According to Meltzer, there has been an idea to run a “Queen of the Ring” tournament next year. Meltzer noted that it’s only an idea being thrown around at this point, but they are looking for ideas for another all-women’s pay-per-view in 2019.
King Of Ring tournament was held annually from 1985 to 2002, with the exception of 1990 and 1992. The tournament returned as an inter-brand event for both SmackDown and Raw in 2008, 2010, and 2015(WWE Network Special).
