4th Day of third test at Melbourne Cricket Ground brought more difficulties to the Indian Batsmen’s. Team India declared the innings early in the morning as 8 wickets were down for India with the score of 108.

Team India invited Australia with a target of 399 to chase down. The openers dismissed early, middle order did some work for Australia but not for so long as Indian pacers started to work. Indian bowling attack took 8 wickets in a combined effort with the score of 258 for Australia.

Pat Cummins also worked in 4th day, The pacer managed to send back set batsmen Mayank Agarwal 42(102), early in the morning. Later Cummins dismissed Ravindra Jadeja 5(6).

Rishabh Pant 33(43) tried to get some runs but Hazlewood sent him back & Indian Innings was declared.

As the pitch was working for bowlers Australian openers got struck early, Aaron Finch 3(4) in the 2nd over & Marcus Harris 13(27) in the 10th over. In the middle order Usman Khwaja 33(59), Shaun Marsh 44(72), & Travis Head 34(92) did some good hitting but no one managed to score a big one.

Tim Paine also tried to get some runs but Ravindra Jadeja dismissed him on 26. Where Australian batting line up collapsed a bowler worked for them & is making India to wait for victory a bit more.

Pat cummins has scored 61 runs from 103 balls, playing not out as Australia is on 258-8. Nathan Lyon is with Pat Cummins on the pitch as day 4 ended. Australia is in need of 141 runs for the win while 2 wickets for India may seal the victory.
