Alexa Bliss Provides Injury Update
WWE fans have been waiting to see Alexa Bliss getting back to her in-ring career. Former RAW & Smackdown Live Women’s Champion is spending time outside the ring due to the injury.
Initially, Alexa Bliss’s injury was referred to as numbness in her arm but later it was reported that she faced multiple concussions in the very short period. She hasn’t wrestled on TV since her Hell In A Cell match with Ronda Rousey, though she worked in only one live event after that.
Alexa Bliss recently showed up in the ACE Comic Con, where she did a question & answers session with Lillian Garcia. She was asked about her in-ring return.
“It was one that happened, and then I went back too soon and aggravated it,” Bliss responded. “Well, I plan on coming back pretty soon. “WWE is very careful with us when it comes to concussions and any injury. We have the best taking care of us and you have to go through concussion protocol. Everybody is being cautious, it’s the brain, you only get one, can’t trade it out for another. So, I’ve been doing well, training at the [WWE] Performance Center. I’ve been training in the ring there. There’s hope for me getting back in the ring relatively soon.
It just depends on—it’s a brain, you can’t really tell it to heal, my MRIs and everything look good. Neurologists say I look good and as long as I don’t have symptoms—that’s the thing, if you feel good, know you’re good, and go in the ring, but feel a symptom (headache or memory loss), you have to start all the way from square one.”
WWE has nothing to say about Alexa Bliss’s in-ring return, except they are just keeping her on WWE TV with some non-wrestling role. Alexa was seen working in the performance center on rehab & we hope so she makes it back to the ring very very soon.
