All eyes are on CM Punk as Collision, the newest brand of AEW, prepares to debut on TNT on June 17. In 2022 All Out media frenzy, the Straight Edge superstar lost his mind. He was permanently suspended from AEW as a result of his behavior backstage. It is well known that CM Punk wants to rejoin AEW and take over the role of the Saturday Night show’s host. A recent report claims that CM Punk wants to rekindle his feud with Samoa Joe, an old foe.
Chris Jericho and CM Punk were going to have a meeting earlier. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the meeting in Florida gave rise to the notion of a possible conflict between Chris Jericho and CM Punk. After the Brawl Out incident, Punk and Jericho were clearly at odds.
But perhaps during their encounter, the two were able to work out their issues. The Second City Saint plans to take on Samoa Joe when he returns, in addition to their ongoing feud with Punk and Jericho.
Fightful Select claims that CM Punk has made a pitch to reignite his rivalry with Samoa Joe. According to the rumors, Punk wants Samoa Joe as his opponent for his comeback match. Samoa Joe and CM Punk are well acquainted. Their conflict began during their time together in Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2004–2005. The pair gave the audience a trilogy of intense fights.

Because neither athlete relented after exceeding the 60-minute time limit, their first two matches resulted in a draw. Samoa Joe prevailed in their final match. But CM Punk has never triumphed over Samoa Joe in a head-to-head match.

Since 2005, the current ROH Television Champion hasn’t squared off against CM Punk. It is currently unknown whether the match will be the culmination of a lengthy feud or a one-off contest. But when the former AEW Champion finally makes his comeback, we’ll have to wait and see how things go.

In 2022, Samoa Joe joined AEW. The Destroyer has primarily been utilized in ROH since his entrance. Joe and Punk were coworkers, but they never ran across each other. Samoa Joe, though, stated during a podcast episode of AEW Unrestricted that he was ready to rekindle his long-running feud with CM Punk.
