Everything We Know About Constantine 2

Constantine 2 has been on the minds of DC fans for some time. The 2005 film introduced a new character to the audience. They loved it. Fans believe that had the film been released today, it would have done considerably better. However, this sudden enthusiasm has no basis.

When Peter Stormare, who played Lucifer Morningstar in the film, posted a photo of himself wearing his Lucifer costume with the caption Sequel in the works, fans began to fidget. There were talks of a Constantine sequel before J.J.Abrams showed interest in doing the movie with Warner Bros. Keanu Reeves has stated in the past that he would want to reprise his role as Constantine in the future film and that he’d like to be involved with the series.

The film’s first major reveal came from its star, Simon Pegg. He teased a possible sequel on Twitter by confirming the news of Stormare’s involvement in the project for the first time. Fans hope that he’ll return as Lucifer Morningstar.

Release Date for Season 2 of Constantine

Because Constantine season two hasn’t aired yet due to NBC’s cancellation, it would be a creative crossover for DC to air after Legends of Tomorrow season four.

Despite the fact that John Constantine’s collection was deleted from Network TV, the coagulated trenchcoat occultist became so popular that he was cast in a one-of-a-kind exhibit – CW’s Arrow.

Why the delay?

Reeves has been especially busy with his current and future projects, including the Matrix 4 and John Wick 4. It will be difficult to get the dates for another project from Reeves owing to his current schedule. This is thought to be the reason for the project’s delay in receiving confirmation.

Fans are confident since Peter Stormare himself stated a sequel was a virtual certainty.
