The Eagles may already be without Lane Johnson for the rest of the regular season, and now Ian Rapoport reports that Avonte Maddox may also be out for a while.
While Darius Slay and nofollow are two of the best outside cornerbacks in the league, it is Avonte Maddox, one of the best slot cornerbacks in the league, who really drives the Philadelphia Eagles secondary.

After the slot cornerback was injured, Dak Prescott threw a 34-yard touchdown throw to CeeDee Lamb before he could be taken off the field.
