Despite this, he not only competed in the event but also came away with a notable victory. Cody did make it to the RAW episode after the fact, where he was brutally attacked by The Visionary.
The American Nightmare occasionally updated his audience on his health. The RAW superstar improved in appearance from his previous appearance on the Monday special. In the interview, Cody Rhodes discussed his goals for 2023, including a potential championship match. He also hinted that he was close to being cleared for a return to the ring.

Everyone heard about his grand plans, but he had no idea what it would take to make them a reality.
I came back for one reason and one reason only: the WWE Championship. In fact, I can’t think of anything that could stop me, not even a torn pec. The task must be completed, and I intend to be the one to do it.”

This suggests that Cody Rhodes has fully recovered and is now taking the necessary precautions to ensure a smooth transition back into society. Interestingly, it has been suggested in the past that he could make a surprise appearance on the 2023 RAW premiere.
