Hangman” Adam Page, real name Stephen Blake Woltz (born July 27, 1991), is an American professional wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and a former AEW World Champion and AEW World Tag Team Champion.
Adam Page Injury
It was announced that AEW Dynamite’s main event will be rescheduled because of an injury to Hangman Adam Page. When Page fell heavily from a lariat on World Champion Jon Moxley, the bout had to be stopped.
Informing the referee that the match needed to be paused and that other trainers were on their way to check on him, Doc Sampson did the right thing. It was not shown on camera, but the ropes had to be unlocked before Page could be removed on a stretcher.

About 10 minutes before the event was scheduled to end, the injury occurred. The cameras avoided taking any close-ups of anyone other than Moxley. Excalibur filled the time by announcing the matchups for the following week, and then MJF declared that he would battle Moxley for the World Title at Full Gear. That bit might have been prearranged, or an audible might have been called to make the announcement now instead of later.
It was prudent of Doc Sampson to notify the referee that the game had to be paused so that he could receive medical attention, and other trainers were on their way to see how he was doing.

Career
On the June 8 episode of Dynamite, Page wrestled for the first time since losing the AEW World Championship, and he won, defeating David Finlay of NJPW. After the match, Page challenged IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, Kazuchika Okada, to a match at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door.
However, Page was cut off by Adam Cole, who reminded him that Okada may not still be the World Champion by Forbidden Door because of his defense against Jay White at Dominion 6.12 in Osaka-jo Hall.
On June 15, after White had won the championship and attacked Page in the post-match press conference, Page attempted to address the problem at the Road Rager event but was again cut off by Cole, who announced his intention to challenge White for the championship.
As a result, White ambushed Page from behind, informing him he wouldn’t defend the championship against him at Forbidden Door, and then told Cole the same thing. Page defeated Silas Young on Dynamite the following week, and after the match, he was again interrupted by Cole, this time by White.
White said that he will not be defending his championship against Cole because of his previous two defeats at the hands of Page. When White and Cole came for Page, Okada made his AEW debut come to the rescue.
