Killian Hayes of the Detroit Pistons and Moe Wagner of the Orlando Magic were at the center of a physical fight that became violent on Wednesday night, rocking the NBA. They were serious about the penalties handed out.
Moe Wagner received a two-game suspension, while Killian Hayes received the harshest punishment with a three-game suspension. Nine further players were also suspended for one game because of their incidental participation with them.
Pumps wing Hamidou Diallo received a suspension after pushing Wagner from behind. He was the third player to be sent home from the game on Wednesday. According to NBA Executive Vice President and legendary Pistons player Joe Dumars, who made the following announcement via ESPN’s Tim Bontemps:

This kind of behavior won’t be tolerated by the NBA, as seen by the prompt punishment.

Franz Wagner, Wendell Carter Jr., and Cole Anthony, three of the Magic’s finest players, are all likely to miss their team’s next game on Friday against the Chicago Bulls, thus the Magic will bear the brunt of the punishment.
