The Minnesota Timberwolves have recently suffered from a number of injuries. Karl-Anthony Towns continues to be sidelined due to a calf issue and has no set comeback date. Both Rudy Gobert and Anthony Edwards are currently suffering from nagging injuries that may prevent them from playing against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday.

Both Edwards and Gobert have now popped open the Timberwolves’ official injury report. Edwards has been suffering from hip pain for the past few games and is listed as questionable due to it. Gobert, who has a strained right groin, is also doubtful.

 Anthony Edwards

The Timberwolves will be severely shorthanded against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets on Wednesday if both players can’t play. In addition to Towns, Edwards, and Gobert, Taurean Prince is also doubtful to participate, and Jordan McLaughlin is also out injured.

Despite his current injury troubles, Edwards has yet to miss a Minnesota game this season, it is important to note. With the same issue, he has previously been listed as questionable, but he has managed to play through the discomfort. It wouldn’t be unexpected if he had the same situation on Wednesday.

On the other side, Gobert has continued to play throughout the last two games despite being injured. However, in his last two appearances, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year winner only lasted 13 and four minutes, respectively, before leaving the game due to a groin injury. On Wednesday, the Wolves may choose to give Gobert the night off.
