Khris Middleton underwent wrist surgery to fix an ailment back in July, which prevented him from playing for the Milwaukee Bucks at the beginning of the season. Giannis Antetokounmpo has helped the Bucks stay among the NBA’s top teams despite his absence, but Middleton’s comeback was anticipated to elevate the Bucks to the top. After all, the Bucks severely missed him during their seven-game playoff loss to the Boston Celtics.

Middleton hasn’t been at his best since making his injury comeback, and on Thursday night’s 142-101 loss against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies, he may have reached the lowest point of his career.

In the dreadful loss, Khris Middleton managed just three measly points on a dismal 1-12 shooting from the field, to go along with four turnovers. In addition, he committed a heinous flagrant foul on Grizzlies player Dillon Brooks and an airball in the third quarter, which perfectly encapsulated his forgettable evening. Giannis Antetokounmpo, though, continues to have faith in his co-star, predicting that the 31-year-old will improve throughout the course of the season.

Khris will just be Khris and find his rhythm. He is a superb athlete. He’ll attract favorable attention, and once he finds his groove, he’ll turn into a horrible guy. However, he hasn’t even appeared in 10 games of the season yet. He will establish his rhythm. He’ll be alright, I promise. According to Antetokounmpo, “He’s going to be tremendous for us,” as reported by Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

 Giannis Antetokounmpo’s

This timely lesson from Giannis Antetokounmpo is undoubtedly needed because many fans live in the present. Middleton has only participated in six games so far this year, and his time on the court against the Houston Rockets was cut short after only six minutes due to an ankle ailment.

The benefit of the doubt should undoubtedly be given to Khris Middleton. He has always been outstanding for the Bucks, but notably during their championship run in 2021. Although it might take some time, supporters should emulate Antetokounmpo’s optimism and hold onto the hope that Middleton will soon return to form.

After a terrible shooting performance in the Bucks’ defeat to the Grizzlies, Giannis Antetokounmpo has a direct message for Khris Middleton.
