We are experiencing World Cup fever, and for good reason—the biggest international football competition, which pits the strongest national teams against one another, only happens once every four years. LeBron James was amused when users on Twitter pointed out that he resembled Cameroon forward Bryan Memo. During this time, some of the greatest yet relatively unknown footballers in the world are given a spotlight unlike any other.
But it seems that not just James bears a striking similarity to a forward who is an important part of their team’s effort to win the most coveted football trophy in the world. Here comes Kyle Kuzma, who addressed a Twitter user who had compared his appearance to that of Brazilian player Richarlison.

With the possible exception of the beard, which unquestionably must be the main reason LeBron James and Bryan Mbeumo’s appearances are being compared in the first place, Kyle Kuzma at the very least resembles Richarlison more than LeBron James does. The 6’9 forward, who is currently a member of the Washington Wizards, could easily be mistaken for Richarlison, especially if he colors his hair white as he did in 2020.

Given that Richarlison scored twice to help Brazil defeat Serbia 2-0 in their opening group-stage match, the Wizards forward will also be thrilled to hear his name mentioned with the Tottenham Hotspur front.
While Bradley Beal, the star player for the Wizards, has missed a significant amount of time, Kyle Kuzma is currently averaging the highest-scoring numbers of his career. On Friday night, the Wizards will play the Miami Heat again, and Kuzma will be hoping to channel Richarlison’s scoring instinct in addition to his good looks.
