The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Chicago Bulls 150-126 at home on Sunday thanks to Anthony Edwards’ performance. On his approach to this windmill dunk late in the competition, Edwards simply felt like no one was going to stop him. It was just another one of those nights for him.
Edwards is undoubtedly one of the players in transition who is most exciting to watch. The young Timberwolves player opted to give at least one more devastating blow to Chicago to cap off his outstanding performance while the Bulls were already well behind.

With 37 points on 13-for-25 field goal shooting, Edwards finished first among scorers. He made a flawless 7-for-7 from the free-throw line and 4-for-11 from behind the arc. Due to the absence of Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns for the Timberwolves, Edwards stepped up to help Minnesota overcome Chicago.

Nevertheless, he received a lot of assistance from players like D’Angelo Russell and Nathan Knight, who each scored 28 and 16 points, respectively. The Timberwolves’ collective field goal percentage was an absurd 65.5 percent and their 3-point percentage was 53.5 percent (23/43). The Timberwolves can score a tonne of points, but that kind of offense is not going to be long-lasting.

The Timberwolves will attempt to maintain their unbeaten streak when they host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. The Timberwolves are currently on a two-game winning streak after dropping three straight games.
