Recently, the Toronto Raptors have been caught in a small losing streak. They had the longest losing skid in the league going into their game against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night. The Knicks, in comparison, had previously won eight straight games. However, Pascal Siakam is unconcerned with what has occurred in recent weeks. He took action—in Madison Square Garden, no less—and guided the Raptors to a crucial win.
Spicy P spent the entire night on a heater. Pascal Siakam destroyed the Knicks’ defense in 41 minutes of action, scoring a career-high 52 points on unbelievable 17-25 field goal shooting and 16-18 free throw shooting, to go along with nine rebounds and seven assists.
The always devoted and fervent Raptors Twitter couldn’t help but rave over such a spectacular effort from one of the finest forwards in the entire league. Siakam’s 52-point outburst could provide the impetus for the turnaround the Raptors so desperately need.

I don’t think people truly understand the immense pride Raps fans have for Pascal Siakam.
His progression is fucking amazing and I’ve never seen anyone work harder to be at the top.

In the third quarter, the Knicks were attempting to stage a comeback, led by Julius Randle and RJ Barrett. Pascal Siakam, though, was unimpressed. In order to keep the Knicks at a safe distance from him so they wouldn’t bridge the gap, he went on an unstoppable scoring spree to end the third.
What a ridiculous stretch from Pascal Siakam, 17 straight points to end the third quarter pic.twitter.com/FW70B3VWD4

All good things must come to an end, including the Knicks. While some supporters may be upset with how their winning streak ended, others are ecstatic to have seen the Knicks turn their season around with a strong eight-game run.
Very tough breaks from the refs tonight #Knicks love the fight, but really Siakam was given Jordan treatment refs gotta chill.
Nice game

The Raptors will try to keep winning when they play the Cleveland Cavaliers, while the Knicks will try to forget about this humiliating loss to the Chicago Bulls the next day.
