In a 104-98 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night, Williamson showed everyone just how dominant he is capable of being.
He had 29 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block at the game’s conclusion. Williamson hit 11 of 16 field goal attempts, which is exceptionally efficient. His accomplishments placed him among the very best players in Pelicans/Hornets history. This was the sixth time he finished a game with at least 25 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. He joined Chris Paul for the fourth-most points in franchise history, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
Williamson seems to be living up to the expectations that were placed on him when he joined the NBA. Since LeBron James entered the NBA in 2003, it could be said that the Pelicans superstar has had the same level of excitement and, thus, pressure to produce.
