Jaden Rashada, a five-star quarterback, is searching for a new school after the University of Florida decided to dismiss him. According to Chad Simmons of on3.com, the nation’s seventh-ranked quarterback in the class of 2023 is now scheduled to visit Arizona State this weekend.
Rashada made a pledge to enroll at the University of Miami initially. But after changing his mind, he decided to enroll at the University of Florida. Rashada requested to be released shortly after signing his national letter of intent in December. This followed complaints about problems with the NIL contract he had with the university.
Jaden Rashada will be the target of some of the top institutions in the country now that he has reopened his recruitment. He had attention from Texas A&M, Florida, LSU, and Ole Miss before deciding to join Miami.
Rashada established himself as one of the most effective quarterbacks in the country throughout his high school career. He passed for 5,816 passing yards, 70 touchdowns, and 24 interceptions over the course of four years and 34 games. He totaled 592 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on the ground.
Rashada put together possibly his strongest campaign during his senior year. 3,055 yards, 32 touchdown passes, and 13 interceptions were thrown by him. He added 419 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the ground.
Rashada must decide where he will play soon because national signing day is drawing near. With the résumé he has put together, he may be able to choose from a number of prestigious employment opportunities.
By the conclusion of the weekend, the coaching staff at Arizona State might have identified their eventual starting quarterback.
