In their NFC Wild-Card Round matchup on Monday night, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers saw absolutely no mercy from Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. Monday, Prescott got out of bed on the right side of the bed and came prepared for the game, leading the Cowboys to a 31-14 victory and a spot in the NFL playoffs.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, Dak Prescott also joined a very select group of NFL statisticians that only includes four other quarterbacks in history.
Along with Matt Ryan, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, and Tobin Rote, Dak Prescott is the fifth player in NFL postseason history to have four pass touchdowns and one rush touchdown in the same game.
The Cowboys benefited from Dak Prescott’s genius, who put his doubters to rest with a brilliant start to the playoffs. Numerous NFL fans had doubts about Prescott’s ability to lead the Cowboys to victory on the road going into the Tampa Bay game.
Although he only played in 12 games, he struggled during the regular season, throwing for 2,860 yards and 23 touchdowns while also being intercepted 15 times in total.
