Wide receiver Darius Slayton of the New York Giants made an NFL Now appearance on Monday. He was asked if he would speak out to convince seasoned wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., to join the team while on the programme.
As usual, Slayton addressed Beckham in the appropriate manner.

You know, he’s got buddies here, Slayton said. Sterling Shepard, is one of those men. I am aware of how close they are. But I support anyone who can aid our team. I believe he knows where home is if he wants to come here and sign here. I’ll end it there.
Slayton and the Giants are supposedly in the running to sign Beckham because they are 7-3. In the upcoming days, the club anticipates hosting a visit from the seasoned pass catcher.
Beckham might be the focal point of this Giant’s offence in the wake of rookie wide receiver Wan Dale Robinson‘s injury, which required surgery on his torn ACL on Sunday.
Slayton has established himself as the Giants’ premier pass-catcher during this season. Slayton has finally regained his form after nearly getting cut before the season began. Slayton has 304 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 16 grabs over the last four games.
The Giants’ offence will be missing a key component without Robinson. Over the course of six games, the rookie receiver recorded 23 receptions for 227 receiving yards and one touchdown. This included a 100-yard receiving game with nine receptions before being wounded in Week 11.
Robinson’s absence will give Darius Slayton a bigger role, but the Giants still need help at wide receiver. Reuniting with Odell Beckham Jr. might be just what this Giants offence needs.
