The Los Angeles Ram’s offence, which is led by Baker Mayfield, may be faced for the first time by Maxx Crosby and the Las Vegas Raiders.
Former first-round pick Mayfield was claimed off waivers by the Rams on Tuesday. Now there appears to be a chance that he may play for the Rams against the Raiders on Thursday night.
Maxx Crosby was questioned about whether the Raiders’ game plan for Thursday will change in the wake of the Mayfield to Rams news. It doesn’t seem to be the case based on his initial reaction.
Maxx Crosby of the #Raiders DE responded when asked if Mayfield’s attitude has changed, “Nah.” “Baker’s obviously had a lot of success. I’m not sure if he’ll play or not. We’re only concerned about improving ourselves. We, therefore, anticipate the struggle.
When responding, Maxx Crosby made the decision to look inside himself. The Raider’s defence will be concentrating on themselves, he made plain. No matter whose quarterback they line up against, they will be ready.

Crosby has once again put together a good season while directing this Raiders defence. He has 69 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 23 quarterback hits, and 10.5 total sacks across the 12 games this season. Additionally, he has three passes intercepted and three fumbles caused.
This Raiders defence could be in for a rough night if they line up against a Mayfield-led offence. The offence can be in a tight spot if the quarterback is still learning the playbook.
