Arsenal is interested in both Sergio Gomez of Anderlecht and Oleksandr Zinchenko of Manchester City. As reported by The Athletic, Arsenal is in talks with Manchester City about selling Zinchenko this summer. The natural midfielder has played consistently as a left-back for Manchester United, and given Kieran Tierney’s injury history, Arsenal may need to bolster that position.
The club might also look into recruiting a natural left-back in case Zinchenko wants to play in his preferred position once he leaves.

Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that Arsenal is also interested in Anderlecht defender Gomez, along with Zinchenko, according to the Italian journalist. Even though Mikel Arteta is expected to start whichever left-back he brings to Emirates Stadium, Tierney’s injury history is a huge issue.
There have been 48 games missed by Tierney throughout his time at Arsenal, with only 64 league matches overall. If Arteta is unable to find a replacement for the Scottish defender, he will need to find a replacement left-back who can come in during his absence.
