A comeback this month is what I’d like to shoot for, although it may not happen until later in the month. That is the plan basically.” Have a goal and strive toward it, and if your body allows you to reach it, all the better. That’s the key.

“But it’s annoying because you’re so professional and always making sure you’re doing the proper things that you just want to be fit.” Injuries aren’t fun for anyone. The Magpies travel to Norwich City on April 23. On April 30th, Newcastle takes on Liverpool at St James’ Park in the Premier League.

Newcastle United’s penultimate Premier League match of the season will take place against Arsenal at St James’ Park, following a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City last time out.

Wilson, a former Bournemouth standout who sustained an Achilles injury in December, was selected to lead the line for the evening’s hosts. It was his first start since then.

But as previously mentioned, Wilson was back in the fray less than 30 minutes after returning to starting duties.

One of his two front teeth had been knocked back into his mouth when the 30-year-old took on an aerial challenge.

Wilson, on the other hand, deserves praise for returning to the pitch after very minor medical care, demonstrating his dedication to the Newcastle cause.

It is to Wilson’s credit that he returned to action practically immediately, despite the fact that he was undoubtedly in considerable agony in his mouth.

Since January, the striker had been out with a calf injury that kept him out of the lineup.

The second half was Wilson’s time to shine after he had a hand in Newcastle’s first-half goal.

Joelinton made a run down the left side of the field before finding Wilson with a cross that found its way into the back of the net.

At first sight, it appeared that Wilson had scored, but replays show that Arsenal defender Ben White’s trailing leg was responsible for the goal.

However, Wilson’s shot from the edge of the box was narrowly saved by the crossbar.
