If Carney Chukwuemeka doesn’t sign a new deal with Aston Villa, the management is open to selling his place on the team’s tour to Australia this summer. In light of Steven Gerrard’s refusal to sign a new contract, the club’s 18-year-old winger was left out in the cold.
Carney has yet to sign a contract offer that has been in place for some time, according to him. England Under 19 teammate Chukwuemeka is seen as one of Villa’s brightest possibilities after they won the European Championship earlier this summer.

Despite this, Villa is growing impatient with his attitude and is aware that he may go in January for a far lower compensation sum if he chooses to join a team outside of the country.
Dortmund, who signed England internationals Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham when they were teenagers, and other teams in England and Europe have been keeping tabs on Chukwuemeka.
Last season, he appeared in 14 games for Villa as a midfielder. This would be a pittance for a player who, by today’s standards, is worth at least 100 times more than Villa’s proposed training compensation should the young England international opt to leave on free next year rather than sign a contract.
In addition to Barcelona, it has been reported that Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus are all interested in Chukwuemeka, according to sources.
