While his future with Arsenal is still uncertain, he is expected to compete for minutes in Carabao Cup and Europa League games till at least January.”
Despite being expected to have a huge season, Patino surprised everyone by breaking out last season. As soon as he came on as a substitute in the EFL Cup triumph over Sunderland, he found the back of the goal to establish a name for himself.
At the end of that season, he would make one more appearance in the FA Cup. “the best youngster I’ve ever seen,” Arsenal scout Brian Stapleton recently said about the 18-year-old.
