Christian Pulisic Transfer

Christian Pulisic, a forward for Chelsea, has been given a new lease on life by new manager Graham Potter, which will only help the United States national team’s chances at the 2018 World Cup.

The 24-year-old assisted on Saturday’s game-winning goal for the Blues against the Palace, and he’ll be looking to reward Potter’s faith in him at Selhurst Park. The US captain, Conor Gallagher, will be coming off the bench to set up his teammate with less than a month till the start of the tournament in Qatar.

There have been some bumps in the last 12 months for Pulisic, with rumors of a transfer away from Stamford Bridge beginning in the summer. It was speculated that he would move to Manchester United, but with Potter at the helm, his latest statements may indicate a recall is imminent.

“I think players go through periods of their careers where they have to suffer a little bit for whatever reason and don’t get their game time that they would like and I think that’s part of the job, that’s part of the sign-up to being a Premier League player,” the new Blues manager was quoted as saying by Goal. It is challenging to maintain a role on a top-four squad.

I can only speak to his character in my relationship with him. Extremely upbeat; he has a good head on his shoulders and is a bright, eloquent guy who can convey his thoughts well. My interactions with him have been positive, and I have decided not to base my opinion of him on whatever he has done in the past. The outcome of this debate will be determined by football, hopefully.
