Odell Beckham Jr.

Odell Beckham Jr. is a free-agent wide receiver, and the Dallas Cowboys have made it obvious once more that they want him to sign with them. Beckham, who tore his ACL in last year’s Super Bowl, is apparently getting close to playing again.

The Cowboys have arguably been the team’s most vocal about their interest in Beckham over a previous couple of weeks. The seasoned wide receiver has been mentioned in the media by Micah Parsons, Ezekiel Elliot, Jerry Jones, and Mike McCarthy, among others.

On a recent episode of SiriusXM NFL Radio, Cowboys executive Stephen Jones contributed to the discussion as well.

Jones stated, However, we are continually looking for ways to improve as a team. A player like Odell Beckham is a tremendous asset to have on your squad, especially if he has healed from his knee injury, which it appears he has.

Therefore, it makes sense that we would be interested in that. Additionally, he has complete freedom to choose any 32 teams, just like any other free agent. But we want to present a strong argument. At the end of the day, it is undoubtedly also about business. So let’s get to work and see if there is a chance we can add a star to Odell’s helmet.

This season, there have been plenty of difficulties in the Cowboy’s wide receiver room. As their primary receiver, CeeDee Lamb has performed admirably. However, this group has also occasionally struggled with a lack of output.

Odell Beckham Jr.’s presence would significantly improve the Cowboys’ offense. And it seems like this squad wants to add a veteran to their roster.
