Cristiano Ronaldo Transfer
Although sources claim he is ready to leave Manchester United, it is assumed that Cristiano Ronaldo will remain at the club this summer and return to pre-season training at the beginning of July.
Português daily sports newspaper After only one season back at Old Trafford, reports indicate that Ronaldo wants to go because he is worried that new manager Erik ten Hag does not have the appropriate means to contend for titles and because he is disappointed with the club’s transfer window.
Even though he’ll be in Portugal for the first three Nations League games in June, the 37-year-old midfielder is anticipated to rejoin for preseason training once he returns from his summer break. Munich is not interested in signing Ronaldo if Barca buys Robert Lewandowski, according to the Spanish newspaper AS. According to German broadcaster Sky.
Bayern Munich’s transfer philosophy does not include Ronaldo, while the club is still trying to convince Lewandowski to sign a new contract despite Barcelona’s €40m (£34.4m) bid for the Poland striker.
In the coming week, players who did not participate in any international games will return to Carrington, where Manchester United trains. The rest of the squad will return later that week.
Ronaldo will be a part of Ten Hag’s plans for the next season, and he indicated he will provide “goals” to his team during his news conference upon his arrival at United.
A rebuild is underway at United with the expiration of contracts for Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Edinson Cavani, Nemanja Matic, and Juan Mata.
At this point in the summer transfer window, United is still without a signing. However, the club is not in a panic, and its focus is reported to be on acquiring quality players at a fair price. A number of players linked to the club have worked with manager Guus Hiddink at Ajax, including Frenkie de Jong, Jurrien Timber, and Antony.
“Whenever the transfer window is open, the subject of Cristiano Ronaldo comes up. There will be no Champions League participation for Manchester United next season, and Cristiano Ronaldo is not thrilled about it. “So far, it’s not going well for him, since he’s so fascinated with playing in the competition that he can’t bear the thought of missing out on it.
“There may be other choices available to him, according to Jorge Mendes, his agent. He promised to consult with the clubs vying for the Champions League title to see what can be done in the summer transfer window.
“With the exception of Tottenham, I’m certain Ronaldo will not play for another English team because he does not fit in with PSG’s new vision, so forget about Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, or any other English club.
“Only Bayern Munich remains in contention. He spoke to them and asked if they were interested in buying Ronaldo for the next season, and they said no. Bayern was surprised when Mendes approached them with the prospect of signing Cristiano Ronaldo, as he isn’t the type of player they typically seek.
“You should only consider Ronaldo’s athletic ability when evaluating an agent’s offer, not his age. Any team would struggle to afford Ronaldo’s £25 million annual contract. Inquiring about Bayern’s thoughts, Mendes has contacted them.
“He either stays or moves to Barcelona, therefore a swap with Robert Lewandowski cannot happen. At this point, all we have are rumors, which is to be expected when it comes to Ronaldo.”
