As a result, the Warriors’ championship parade in 2022 took on a new look. According to Kylen Mills, a KRON4 reporter, there will be no public comments from the players and no rally before or after the march. Instead, speeches will be delivered in a private ceremony that will be aired.
WARRIORS PARADE UPDATE: I'm told the players will not be doing any public speeches & there will not be any rally before or after the parade (like the Giants have done at Civic Center). They will give speeches at 10:20am in a private ceremony which will be broadcast. #DubNation

Draymond Green wouldn’t be deterred by that.
All-Star forward Dwyane Wade took to Twitter to express his displeasure that there will be no public statements during this year’s All-Star festivities.
Just after 1:30 a.m. PT on the day of the parade, Green, who hasn’t shied away from taking on critics since winning his fourth NBA title, rushed to Twitter to offer his response.
Since Golden State’s third title parade in the previous eight seasons, Green has made it a point to reply to critics.
At one point, Green entered the stage and said, “I warned y’all don’t let us win a freaking championship,” before pledging to “continue to attack people on Twitter” in response to Boston’s “All About 18” t-shirt controversy.
With his clothing and his talks, Green has used the forum in the past to make a variety of comments.
“And as always, f— everybody else.”
And here we thought that Draymond Green wouldn’t speak to the crowd 🤣

As a member of Cleveland’s two championship teams in 2017 and 2018, Draymond Green wore a T-shirt joke-making the Quicken Loans Arena and LeBron James’ use of the “Arthur” balled fist meme, calling out Tristan Thompson in interviews and speeches, and criticizing the hypocrisy of the “superteam” debate.
