The Cincinnati Bengals have been defeated by the Cleveland Browns. Further evidence of that may be found in their most recent victory in Week 8’s Monday Night Football.
The Browns defeated Joe Burrow and the Bengals, 32-13, thanks to a great offensive performance led by Nick Chubb and a good defensive effort led by Myles Garrett. According to ESPN Stats & Info, Cleveland has now defeated Cincinnati five times in a row, marking their first five-game winning streak against a single opponent since joining the NFL in 1999.
The Bengals have undoubtedly been the superior club over the past three years. They even advanced to the 2021 Super Bowl LVI. Having said that, the team must be frustrated by the losing streak versus the Browns.

For the Browns, defeating the Bengals and coming out on top should be a huge confidence booster. After letting go of Baker Mayfield, they are still searching for their collective identity as a squad. Indeed, continuing their winning streak against Cincinnati is a positive move.

The Browns obviously have a lot of work to do. With a record of 3-5, they will need to significantly improve in the second half of the 2022 season if they hope to reach the playoffs. In the AFC North, the Bengals (4-4) and Baltimore Ravens (5-3) are still in the lead.
The Browns are off in Week 9 and play the Miami Dolphins in Week 10 to make up for their absence. Indeed, after their most recent victory, there are strong expectations that they will continue to succeed.
