On Saturday, Bronny James made his Sierra Canyon senior year debut, and LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t be happier with how his oldest son performed.
Bronny’s performance was impressive despite Sierra Canyon’s eventual 63-60 overtime loss against Rancho Christian. Several highlight reel items from the game were produced, with one specific Bronny moment truly sticking out.
Bronny dribbled toward the basket, dribbled past two opponents in the air, and then easily sank a layup for the simple two points. Although we claim it to be “simple,” Bronny only made it appear as such with his flawless execution.
Even LeBron himself understands how challenging it is to make the shot, which is why he was so proud of his son for doing it. He soon COLD!!! was the message on the Lakers player’s Instagram story repost of the video.

LeBron James has consistently shown his support for his kids’ basketball careers. Bronny and his younger brother Bryce continue to show that they are deserving of all the attention, despite the fanfare and attention that the Lakers’ star is giving them.
Bronny has not yet decided which college he will go to after graduating from high school. There is no doubt that he will have a number of suitors given how he has improved his game over the years, even though he is anticipated to wait until the spring before finalizing his choice.
