Minamino Transfer

His love affair with Liverpool ended this week when the Japan international signed a four-year agreement with Monaco, which paid £15.5million for his talents.

Although Minamino failed to establish himself as a regular starter for Liverpool, the Kopites and his teammates adored him and he was well-regarded by the club.

“Minamino, on the other hand, made the most of every opportunity he had, whether it was during a contest or training. ‘Without a doubt, he is a person who sets our standards,’ Klopp remarked.

“As a result, Minamino leaves Liverpool having made a lasting effect on his teammates, coaches, and the club’s accolades list. Thanks to Taki for his contributions and good luck in the future, everyone at LFC would want to express their gratitude.”

Minamino’s professionalism impressed Jurgen Klopp, the Reds’ manager, who said he will miss him.

Takumi Minamino

According to a statement by the club, ” “Liverpool FC has confirmed that Takumi Minamino has completed a permanent transfer to AS Monaco.

This marked the end of Minamino’s Liverpool career, having played 55 times over a period of 2.5 years, scoring 14 goals and setting up three more. He will now join Ligue 1 in France.

Another piece said: “Klopp previously referred to Minamino as a “coach’s dream” because of his high level of play and positive demeanor, and the Borussia Dortmund manager acknowledged the No 18 deserved many more starts.

“It’s heartbreaking to see Taki go, but it’s a fantastic move for him and one he completely deserves,” the German remarked. Professionally, this player is outstanding.

“He has a contagious smile that brightens the day of those around him. A true fantasy for any manager.

That said, I’m sure there will be some who think it didn’t quite work out. People who believe this are erring. That doesn’t sit right with me. This player’s contributions considerably transcend the chances we were able to offer him in terms of starting games.

“Not only did he improve our performance on the field but also in the practice sessions we had with him.

“A winning attitude and frame of mind. We’ve had to paint the Champion’s Wall so many times because of his heroics and heroic goals. He’s the reason. To be sure, his accomplishments in this capacity will endure.”

When asked about his new role at AS Monaco, Minamino said: “It is a great thrill for me to join AS Monaco.

“This is a terrific opportunity for me to be a part of an interesting initiative at one of the most well-known clubs in Ligue 1. “I’m eager to get to know my new surroundings and contribute to the team.”
