Jesse Lingard Transfer

After a transfer to Nottingham Forest was finalized, Dean Henderson joked that he went into agent mode and helped bring in Jesse Lingard. On Thursday, Nottingham Forest confirmed the signing of Manchester United academy product Jesse Lingard as their newest summer acquisition.

When his contract at Old Trafford expired at the end of last month, Lingard said goodbye to the club following a difficult few years in which he saw limited playing time. Both West Ham and Newcastle had been connected with Lingard.

Nottingham Forest has signed goalkeeper Henderson, 29, on a season-long loan from Manchester United.

While on the banks of the Trent, Henderson referred to himself as “agent Deano” on Instagram. The goalkeeper, like Lingard, has teamed up with Forest manager Steve Cooper in the hopes that playing regular games can earn him a trip to Qatar for the 2018 World Cup.

While Germany was under siege, Buhl missed a simple tap-in opportunity in front of an open goal in the 82nd minute.

Popp scored her fourth goal of the competition in the 90th minute when she forced goalkeeper Zinsberger into hitting the ball against her outstretched leg.

Popp’s fourth goal of the tournament put her in second place behind England’s Beth Mead in the tournament’s scoring charts (five). The 31-year-old became the first player to score in four consecutive matches at a single Euros tournament, the first tournament she had played in after missing the previous two due to injuries.

On Saturday, France and the Netherlands will face off in a crucial Euro 2016 matchup. The winner of Friday’s quarterfinal between Sweden and Belgium will face England, which defeated Spain in a dramatic manner on Wednesday.

Voss-Tecklenburg said that Bierhoff’s goal was for the national team to finish in the top four in major competitions, and the team has achieved that. Even if we don’t beat our first-round opponent, “we still want to win the semifinals because we know there will be tougher and harder hurdles.”

Jesse Lingard Transfer

Lingard rejoined former Manchester United manager David Moyes to West Ham United on loan on January 29, 2021, for the remainder of the season. On 3 February 2021, Lingard scored two goals in West Ham’s 3–1 win against Aston Villa in his debut.

This was the longest distance a player in the Premier League had to go before scoring a goal this season as he carried the ball 52 meters before hitting past Rui Patricio on 5 April. In his first ten Premier League games for West Ham, Lingard continued his impressive form from his loan spell, scoring nine goals and dishing out four assists.

On 17 April, he netted his eighth goal from the penalty spot in the team’s 2–3 loss to Newcastle United. Having scored more Premier League goals for West Ham than he had for Manchester United in a season, he celebrated with a goal of his own.

It was Lingard’s strike against Wolves that earned him Premier League Player of the Month and Premier League Goal of the Month honors for the month of April. During his loan, he appeared in 16 games, scoring nine goals and setting up another five.
