Jayson Tatum

We have already witnessed two notable ejections in the NBA in the past 24 hours. The first incident occurred Tuesday night during the Golden State Warriors’ road defeat to the Phoenix Suns when Klay Thomspon was asked to use the restroom after arguing verbally with Devin Booker.

The Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash was also booted from a game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night after attempting to confront the officials. Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics is apparently scratching his head about these ejections.

If anything, whenever Tatum considers contesting a decision on the floor, he will need to remember the season’s early, seemingly short triggers for NBA officials. That might prevent him from being kicked out and/or penalized.

Tatum and the Celtics will keep that in mind, but they will also be concentrating on their upcoming matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are currently riding a three-game winning streak after defeating the Orlando Magic 103-92 at home on Wednesday night.

Similar to the Cavaliers, the Celtics are 3-1, but they recently suffered a 120-102 loss to the Chicago Bulls in Chicago.

Jayson Tatum had a total of 14 technical fouls last season, which was the 10th highest overall. He already has two this season, which ties him for the most thus far in the 2022–23 season with Klay Thompson and DeMar DeRozan.
