Sergio Michel “Checo” Pérez Mendoza is a Mexican racing driver who now competes in Formula One for Red Bull Racing, having previously raced for Sauber, McLaren, Force India, and Racing Point. After 190 starts, he became the first driver to win a Formula One Grand Prix at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix in Bahrain. At the 2022 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, he also set a new record for the number of races before he took his first pole position in Formula One.
Till 2012, Pérez was a student at Ferrari Driver Academy. During the 2011 Formula One season, he made his F1 debut with Sauber. Sauber’s 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix was his maiden podium finish in a Formula One race. “The Mexican Wunderkind” was a moniker given to him because of his early age and outstanding performance. There were no podium finishes in the 2013 season when Pérez joined McLaren. Kevin Magnussen will replace Pérez for the 2014 season after the team opted to do so.

Despite winning the Monaco Grand Prix, Sergio Perez presumably experienced a moment of regret because he had signed a new deal before the race.
Red Bull was able to win the Monaco Grand Prix despite qualifying at the back of the field. In Sergio Perez, Ferrari was able to take advantage of some strategic missteps by Ferrari.
In spite of winning the historic race, Sergio Perez had a moment of sadness. As he walked with team boss Christian Horner after the race, the Mexican racer was overheard stating, “I probably signed too early”.
It’s possible that Perez has signed a new deal with Red Bull, based on this tweet. Despite the fact that the Mexican driver was due to leave the club at the end of the 2022 season, the team decided to extend his contract.
Even if Red Bull hasn’t made any official announcements yet. Erik van Haren, however, claims that Perez has signed a new deal, which further strengthens our belief.

As a first step, the quality of Perez’s play has convinced the organization to extend his contract through the end of 2019. The qualifying deficit to Verstappen is one of the most important aspects of this. However, by the end of 2022, it had dropped to 0.377 seconds. The Mexican’s outstanding pole position in Jeddah was a major factor in this outcome. ‘ Red Bull like a teammate to be within three-tenths of Verstappen, so Perez is doing a fantastic job of accomplishing that.

He competed in the 80 cc Shifter class in 1999, winning three races and finishing third in the overall championship. The 80 cc Shifter gave Pérez the opportunity to compete against older drivers, and he did it admirably, becoming the youngest driver in the category to do so.
In 2000, he competed in the Shifter 80 cc Championship as well as three Telmex Challenge races in the Shifter 125 cc class. However, Pérez was not happy with the results, and the next season, he competed in the 125cc Shifter Regional Championship, once again as the youngest driver in the division. Escuderia Telmex scouts were impressed by the Mexican driver’s record of success and recruited him for their team.
