Brian Burns, an edge rusher, has demonstrated to the NFL why the Carolina Panthers chose against trading him before the trade deadline. Burns has 31.5 career sacks over the course of his four NFL seasons. This is the highest total for a defensive player that is under 25 years old.

Since being selected with the 16th overall choice in the NFL draught, Burns has emerged as a defensive stalwart for the Panthers. He has 31.5 career sacks and 171 total tackles over 57 games, along with 35 tackles for loss, 65 quarterback hits, six forced fumbles, and nine intercepted passes.
Burns and the Carolina Panthers are now playing a tense divisional game against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night football. Burns has put on a display at the beginning of the fourth quarter once more. Burns has made a total of four tackles as the Panthers lead 22-9.
Along with him, the Panther’s defense as a whole has put up a strong display. Shaq Thompson and Frankie Luvu, two linebackers, have made a total of 14 tackles, including one sack and three tackles for loss.
The Panthers have a strong ground game on the offensive side of the ball. D’s running back On the field, Onta Foreman has dominated. On 24 total carries, he has gained 118 yards and one touchdown.
At only 24 years old, Brian Burns appears to have firmly established as the leader of this youthful Panthers defense. They always seem to be in a position to be competitive with him leading the team. And he doesn’t appear to be changing his location any time soon.
