The Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks met in a big game on Thursday night between two teams that are both vying for the championship this year. Unfortunately for Kevin Durant and company, the Mavs prevailed valiantly, 129-125, in Brooklyn’s own home court.
A 43-point triple-double from Luka Doncic and a mind-blowing 76 points from KD and Kyrie Irving highlighted the high-scoring contest. Kendrick Perkins, on the other hand, is more worried about the defense that was used in this game, or rather, the lack of it:
“I guess the Nets don’t mind when folks give them that job every single night. They simply cannot watch over elderly residents of nursing homes during breaks! Oh, and that Luka is just SPECIAL, so keep going! Perkins used his tweet to write.
That is brutal. Given that the Nets allowed the Mavs to thrash them by 129 points in this game, there is some validity to Big Perk’s assertion as well.

Recently, Kendrick Perkins has spoken out frequently about the Nets, and it’s obvious that he finds the team’s early-season difficulties amusing. Following his ejection on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Steve Nash’s Brooklyn head coach recently came under fire from Perk, who said that Nash orchestrated his own ejection to avoid having to make any tactical adjustments in the fourth period. There is no disputing that Perkins is enjoying the fact that the Nets have now dropped three consecutive games.
