When the Indianapolis Colts were playing a 3-4 or 4-3 defense, he used to play nose tackle in order to draw double teams. He appeared in 13 games, started six games, and had one sack, 36 total tackles, and a fumble recovery as a rookie. It was the 1991 season when he appeared in 13 games, started 6, had two interceptions, one return for an interception, and 46 total tackles. For the 1992 season, he played in all 16 games, starting 12, and finishing with three sacks and a total of 65 tackles on the season.

When he played in and started 14 games for the Atlanta Falcons in 1993, he recorded 1.5 sacks and 76 total tackles. For the 1994 season, he started all 16 games and had five sacks, 88 tackles combined, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery to his credit. This season he has two tackles for loss (TFL), 49 total tackles (49 TFL), and one interception for loss (IFL).

While playing for the Colts in the 1995 AFC Championship Game, Siragusa was upset that Colts coach Ted Marchibroda received a no-raise, no-extension contract offer before departing the team.

Coach Lindy Infante and team Vice President of Football Operations Bill Tobin both rankled Siragusa openly. In the 1996 season, he appeared in and started ten games, making two sacks, 45 total tackles, and one fumble recovery.
