Ty France Injury

Friday afternoon’s MRI on France’s left arm ruled him out of the starting lineup for Friday night’s game against Seattle, the Seattle Mariners.
Awaiting results, Mariners manager Scott Servais stated. It’s being read by two or three different doctors, and we’re crossing our fingers that everything is fine.
During Thursday night’s 2-1 victory over Oakland, the Mariners’ most productive hitter, France, was out due to injury. When Sheldon Neuse collided with France’s glove, France’s arm was pulled back uncomfortably.
Even when Servais came to the ballpark on Friday, France was sore, he added, “as expected.”
As Servais commented, “I hope it won’t be too horrible.”. “I’m aware he’ll be gone for a few days. I don’t want to speculate because I don’t know what the results will be, but I hope it’s simply a strain or a concussion…. yes, “then we can move forward.
Dylan Moore replaced France at first base on Friday night.

According to Servais, “Kevin Padlo and Abraham Toro have both played some first base in the past.”
This year’s Gold Glove winner at first base Evan White has been sidelined by hip surgery, making him an ineligible candidate to play in the World Series. He began a rehabilitation assignment on June 14 but has not participated since because he didn’t feel well after playing.
In Seattle, Servais said, “Evan is still undergoing rehabilitation, and he is participating in certain baseball activities, but he is not yet at full strength.”
As of Thursday night, the X-ray results from France’s game against Canada were negative, therefore the team plans to have France get an MRI on Friday. On Thursday, France informed reporters that he was optimistic about his injury, and Servais stated he was “cautiously optimistic” about France’s prognosis.
For now, he said in his pregame press conference that he and other team doctors are still waiting to see the results of France’s MRI, according to Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports.
MLB.com’s Daniel Kramer reported on Friday that France admitted to being stiff and sore but was making progress.
