Tyson Fury has now said that his upcoming match will be formally revealed this week, along with the identity of his new opponent.
Negotiations for the WBC heavyweight world title match against Anthony Joshua fell apart last week.
The fight was scheduled for December 3 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, and Fury’s organisation has elected to stick with those times and locations.
The Gypsy King will now fight a different foe, and two names are known to be in the running.
“Hey folks, second session of the day,” Fury wrote on social media on Thursday. Absolutely outstanding.
“I’m coming for you on December 3.”
“We’re ready to reveal our opponent for this week.
“My kid, get up there. Come on, Cardiff, get up.
Fury was conversing with Mahmoud Charr in addition to the futile conversations with Joshua.
The fight has already been verbally agreed upon by the two, and Charr even asserted that he had a contract with Fury’s promoter Frank Warren, allowing him to enter the ring against either Joe Joyce, Daniel Dubois, or the Gypsy King himself.
Additionally, it is known that Fury’s camp sent Derek Chisora a contract.
The WBC heavyweight world champion has discussed a potential trilogy battle with his old pal, which may happen next, despite having two earlier victories against his fellow Brit.
Fury’s opponent for the third of December is not yet known, but confirmation is imminent.
