Justin Jefferson Amazes LeBron James

While only in his third year of football, wide receiver Justin Jefferson has already established himself as one of the best in the league. The star wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings had another monster game on Thanksgiving, catching nine passes for 139 yards and a touchdown. The Vikings beat the New England Patriots 33-26.

After three years in the league, Jefferson already has more receiving yards than anyone else in league history, and there are still six games left in the season.

The Vikings improved to 9-2 with the victory and remained within striking distance of the 9-1 Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC’s top overall seed. The Vikings have a commanding five-game lead over the 4-7 Green Bay Packers and the 2-10 Detroit Lions in the NFC North.

And a big part of that success can be attributed to Jefferson’s play so far this season. On Thursday night, Kirk Cousins completed 30 of 37 passes for 297 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception while taking only one sack.

However, the Vikings know they can count on Jefferson, their star wide receiver, to come through with the big play whenever they need it. Even though Dalvin Cook was held to just 42 rushing yards on 22 carries by a stout New England defense, the Vikings will take the win. Furthermore, why not feed Jefferson if he continues to play like this? One could argue that at this point no one is more skilled.
