Due to an injury, the Denver Broncos will change their quarterback for Week 7.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Wilson won’t be able to suit up for the Broncos against the New York Jets on Sunday.
The #Broncos will start QB Brett Rypien tomorrow vs the #Jets, as Russell Wilson won t play, source said. The final determination was made after he threw this morning. Wilson received very few reps in practice this week.

Wilson’s hamstring ailment has prevented him from practising much this week. Rypien has already been participating in the majority of the offensive first-team practise repetitions.
Few people will think Wilson’s performance this season has been so pitiful that it is bad for Denver. How effective is Rypien capable of being?
In 2020, Rypien, 26, participated in three games. In that season, he passed for 295 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions.
The Jets will be visiting the 2-4 Broncos, who are currently on a 3-game losing run.
With Russell Wilson out, Brett Rypien will start for the Broncos, according to Larry Brown Sports.
