Chet Holmgren’s 4-word message amid injury recovery will make Thunder fans sad

Chet Holmgren is eager to play in the NBA. The rookie for the Oklahoma City Thunder made this obvious in a recent tweet.

The NBA season began on Tuesday, and after three days of nonstop action and exhilarating moments, Holmgren couldn’t help but feel disappointed that he isn’t playing basketball alongside his Thunder teammates.

On Twitter, Holmgren remarked, “I simply want to hoop.”

Due to an injury sustained during a Pro Am game in the offseason, Chet Holmgren has already been declared ineligible for his first season. He had a Lisfranc injury that necessitated surgery and kept him out of action for the entirety of his rookie season in the NBA.

Of course, it is hardly the best way for Holmgren to launch his career. It also isn’t what he and the Thunder had in mind for his debut year after they selected him with the second overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.

Holmgren has already expressed his longing for basketball. During his summer recovery, he tweeted that he “can’t wait to hoop again.” He must admit, though, that it’s harder for him to wait now that he’s seen his draught classmates Jabari Smith Jr., Paolo Banchero, and many others speak for their individual teams.

Holmgren will be eager to play for the Thunder as soon as possible, but for the time being, he and the rest of the Oklahoma City faithful must wait patiently for him to return to full strength. They won’t want him to come back merely to make things worse.

Thunder fans will be disappointed by Chet Holmgren’s 4-word statement while he recovers from an injury, according to ClutchPoints.
