In response to Conor Benn’s failed drug test, Chris Eubank Jr has generously offered to pay for a disgruntled fan to get a tattoo of Conor Benn removed.
Tomorrow night, the sons of British boxing greats Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn were expected to rekindle a bitter family feud that captivated the country in the 1990s.
The fight, however, was jeopardised on Wednesday when it emerged that Benn tested negatively for clomifene in an August test conducted by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association.
The World Anti-Doping Agency has outlawed the medication, which is often used to treat female infertility but has the potential to boost male testosterone.
The British Boxing Board of Control forbade the fight from happening before it was formally postponed, against the wishes of both combatants and their promoters Kalle Sauerland and Eddie Hearn.
Many fans were disappointed and left out of pocket when Eubank vs. Benn was abruptly called off, but one claimed to be more irate than the others after The Destroyer tested positive for a prohibited substance.
Conor Benn, you were my hero, and now I’ll have to live with this tattoo for the rest of my life since I can’t afford laser removal, wrote a Twitter user beside a photo of a Benn tattoo. I’m heartbroken.
Even though it appears the Twitter user was only a troll, Eubank Jr. saw the tweet and volunteered to help Benn’s “old admirer.”

Don’t worry, buddy Send your information to my team, and I’ll take care of everything; I’ll pay to get your tattoo removed. He answered, “My email is on my bio.”
The 33-year-old has been making fun of Benn throughout the course of their doomed battle, and even though it has been called off, he still picks on his opponent.
In his training, Eubank Jr has made fun of those who are concerned about his ability to make the 175-pound weight limit for his fight with Benn by sharing a number of videos of him eating luxurious cuisine alongside viral sensation Salt Bae, including KFC, cake, burgers, and steak.
After the bout was called off, Eubank Jr. proceeded to criticise his opponent by uploading an old video of Benn’s surprised response to Jarrell Miller failing a drug test before their anticipated 2019 battle.
Although it’s unknown if or when a bout between the British pair will be rescheduled, you can count on Eubank Jr to keep up his usual social media antics until then.
