The award season has returned, baby! The 2022 BET Soul Train Awards nominees have already been made public. The complete list of nominees was released by BET on October 20, 2022, a Thursday.

The 2022 BET Soul Train Awards will be broadcast on BET and BET Her on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Deon Cole, a comedian, writer, and Black-ish star, will preside over this year’s BET Soul Train Awards.

Hosting the Soul Train Awards is a dream come true, according to Cole in a news statement. I watched Soul Train as a child, and to this day, I have never encountered a Soul Train line that I didn’t grace with my expert two step. Being granted this chance is certainly a privilege.
With a combined seven nominations, Beyonc and Mary J. Blige are in first place on the list of contenders. With six nominations, Ari Lennox is just behind the other two. Lizzo and Chris Brown, on the other hand, each have five nominations. Steve Lacy, Muni Long, and Burna Boy each received four nominations.
