DeAndre Hopkins, a wide receiver with the Arizona Cardinals, is scheduled to make his return to the team in Week 7 in time for the team’s Thursday Night Football game against the New Orleans Saints after serving a six-week suspension on the sidelines. Hopkins uploaded a promotional video to social media in advance of his anticipated comeback, which included endorsements from people like Snoop Dogg and Odell Beckham Jr. Following Hopkins’ announcement of his return prior to the Week 7 match, Cardinals supporters will be ecstatic.

Hopkins posted a video on Instagram with the title “DON’T CALL IT A Return” and the graphic “Free D-Hop” in the sky. In the video, Snoop Dogg welcomes Hopkins back to the league after his six-week layoff, and Beckham requests that people “please, don’t call it a comeback.”

Hopkins was found to have violated the NFL’s rules on performance-enhancing drugs, and the league consequently suspended Hopkins for six games. Hopkins received a six-game suspension from the league after testing positive for the anabolic substance Ostarine during the offseason. Hopkins insisted constantly that he didn’t intentionally consume any performance-enhancing drugs and that he had no idea how they got into his system.

Hopkins’ performance was hindered by injuries in the second half of the previous season, and the six-game ban prevented him from playing during the Cardinals’ 2-4 start. In fact, Hopkins has missed 14 of the Cardinals’ last 16 games as a result of injuries and the ban.

It will be vital to have him available for Week 7 since a victory over the Saints may fundamentally alter Arizona’s season picture. With Hopkins back in the mix, a 3-4 record would feel much more manageable to overcome than a loss that would drop them to 2-5 and put them in a dire situation.

DeAndre Hopkins won’t take the field again in a regular-season game until Thursday’s contest with the Saints, his first appearance since Week 14 of the NFL’s 2021 campaign.

DeAndre Hopkins’ crazy pre-game hype video featuring Snoop Dogg and Odell Beckham Jr. for the Cardinals’ return against the Saints was first published on ClutchPoints.
