In Week 4 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Tagovailoa last participated in game action before suffering a terrifying concussion. That followed intense scrutiny of the team’s handling of an injury in Week 3, which led to modifications to the league’s concussion protocol.
With eight touchdowns in his first three starts of the season, Tagovailoa was having a breakout season for the Dolphins. Since his injury, Miami has been winless, so they will be happy to have him back.
Tua Tagovailoa’s return date for the Dolphins has been decided, according to Larry Brown Sports.
