Linval Joseph, a seasoned DT, visited the Jets today, according to sources. The former Giants second-round pick was back in Jersey in preparation for a probable move back to the state.

Joseph played with the Los Angeles Chargers for the previous two seasons. He made 57 total tackles, three tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and one sack in the previous season.

For more than a decade, Joseph has dominated the NFL. He has taken part in 171 games in all during the course of his career. 75 quarterback hits, 25 total sacks, 644 total tackles, 56 tackles for loss, 8 forced fumbles, and 75 quarterback hits are all totals for him.

The 34-year-old former second-round pick is committed to continuing his career. Joseph may be a fantastic addition to the Jets’ already talented defensive front.

Since being selected with the third overall choice in the 2019 NFL Draft, Quinnen Williams has emerged as a defensive stalwart for the Jets. He is on track to have his finest season ever. He has made 22 total tackles, five sacks, and one forced fumble through the first six games.

The Jets’ defensive front also includes John Franklin-Myers, Solomon Thomas, and Carl Lawson in addition to Williams.

A experienced presence might be added by Joseph to a team that has already surpassed expectations. The Jets are off to a great start and are currently 4-2. Furthermore, this team is still going strong.
