Brian Kelly, the head coach of the LSU football team, dislikes instant replay. Kelly discussed the idea during an appearance on his radio show prior to a crucial game over Ole Miss. His Tigers team had to deal with as many as five stoppages of play due to replay during this past weekend’s victory over the Florida Gators. According to Yahoo Sports, here is what the head football coach of LSU had to say.
It was explained to us as follows: “His hand is slightly moving forward by a frame if you break it down to the millisecond by a frame,” Kelly stated. “So, it’s wonderful if we’re going to reach that level. Like, immediate replay is a game-breaker.
The instant replay team, according to Brian Kelly, broke down events to a “millisecond by a frame,” which he believes is “ruining the game,” he said. Of course, some would argue that the degree of detail the LSU football coach is mocking really improves the game.
However, Kelly is obviously not a fan. Or maybe he’s just annoyed by all the instant replay decisions that go against LSU football. He continued his tirade by stating, “10 times out of 10, the call stands on the field.”
Unless it’s an LSU call, of course. Or am I the only one? Kelly queried. They simply don’t seem to like the northerner, in my opinion.
Brian Kelly seems to dislike immediate replay in a sincere way. However, there is also some resentment present.
