Given Gang Green’s recent off-field turmoil and on-field success, the New York Jets’ Week 7 game against the Denver Broncos is an intriguing one. We’ll be making our Jets Week 7 predictions before to the Jets-Broncos game.
After requesting for a trade and taking a personal day from the organisation, Elijah Moore won’t play this week for the Jets. Although the wide receiver came back on Friday, coach Robert Saleh indicated Moore would stay in New York to work with the conditioning staff rather than going to Denver. On Monday, he will re-join the group.
Saleh also firmly asserted that trading Moore is not a possibility.

So, yeah, there is some discontent at a time when the Jets are having their greatest season in a long time. They have won three straight games and are 4-0 when playing away from home. For a change, the Jets actually seem to be a respectable NFL team.
How they handle Moore’s distraction could reveal a lot about their growth as a team this season.
After that, let’s move on to our Week 7 Jets predictions.

Denzel Mims won t start but will contribute for Jets
After being idle for the previous six weeks, Denzel Mims will participate in his first game of the season. Ironically, his chance appears after Moore requests a transfer. A trade was also requested by Mims during training camp.
Saleh omitted to mention if Mims will debut or even what his function will be. Since OTAs, he has occupied the sixth spot on the Jets depth chart, making it unlikely that he will supplant Moore in the starting lineup. Expect one of the starting quarterbacks, Jeff Smith or Braxton Berrios, to join receivers Corey Davis and Garrett Wilson.
But Mims will play. And he’ll at least make one catch, which will be one more than Moore did in the victory over the Green Bay Packers last week. He will also contribute in the running game, where Mims has already shown himself to be an effective blocker.
The Jets will knock Russell Wilson out of the game for the Broncos
Due to a hamstring problem, Russell Wilson is labelled as questionable to participate this week. The Jets do, however, fully anticipate Wilson to start for the Broncos on Sunday.
But he will walk with a limp. And Quinnen Williams, who has been playing like an absolute beast, has spearheaded the Jets defensive line in recent weeks, which has been fierce.

It’s not just about the sacks with the Jets pass rush. Recently, they have been applying pressure at an elite rate and hitting hard at every opportunity. When the Jets released Aaron Rodgers last week, he appeared to be 38 years old.
Russell Wilson will begin but not complete this game. Wilson will be battered and bruised and leaving before the final siren, whether it’s from the hamstring or general wear and tear.
The Jets will win their fourth straight, though it won t be pretty
Not everyone can be a Picasso.
This phrase or a variation of it has been used by coaches in sports for years. In other words, not every triumph is flawless or a work of art. Few are, in actuality.
For the Jets, this will be one of those victories. It will be a defensive fight with little points. The Broncos’ struggling offence will be stopped, and the Jets will score just enough points to defeat a top-notch Denver defence 16-10.
Zach Wilson will throw a touchdown, but the passing game won’t blow anyone away. This will ensure New York’s fourth consecutive victory, along with three field goals from Greg Zuerlein.
